Keilor Primary School is a community primary school, located west of the city of Melbourne.

Gerard, principal of KPS, reached out, as he had an idea of transforming a large grey wall in this local schools courtyard, into a piece of artwork that helped convey, and celebrate the values of this small community primary school.

That's where we got to work together; students from the school were encouraged to submit ideas of what they wanted on their walls, and upon considering them, we incorporated elements of the students' ideas into the design.

This was a special project for me, for a number of reasons. I love to work alongside local communities, to create something that brightens spaces, but even more so, it was such an honour to share the joy of being an artist with young people!
